I think this is the 23rd action movie starring Liam Neeson since he retired from action movies.
This time he's an off the books fixer for the FBI director. An FBI agent loses it big time doing undercover work and that leads to Liam discovering some shady shit is going on. There's a side story about him being OCD and paranoid that alienates him from his daughter and granddaughter.
Liam is Liam, but far less intense than Taken Liam.
The plot is a mess though. Very basic formula, but hampered down with ridiculously convoluted characters. I watched the ending without distraction, but still have no idea why it played out the way it did. Legit might be the oddest ending to an action movie I've ever seen.
This felt like an 80s movie.
