Two amateur criminals, crazy in love, end up in the home of true sociopaths.
This is a dark comedy starring Bill Skarsgård (Pennywise), Jeffrey Donovan (Michael Westen), Kyra Sedgwick (Mrs. Kevin Bacon), and Maika Monroe. There's also a character in the film that doesn't utter a word throughout the entire thing, which makes two movies like that in a row for me. That's totally by chance too, which is weird.
Everyone is great, and I honestly think Jeffrey Donovan should get more credit for his range. Maika Monroe is amazing and perfect as a young girl in that honeymoon phase of a relationship.
It's an entertaining film whose biggest flaw is forcing the characters to be a bit stupid. Reality would dictate the film would be over in about 15 minutes if everyone acted like they would in reality.
Good film.
