Western
David Arquette and the old bearded bald guy from all those horror movies (you'll remember him most currently from Rob Zombie's movies) make a huge mistake trespassing on the sacred ground of a "different" kind of indian. This leads to other troubles that eventually involve Kurt Russell, Matthew Fox, Patrick Wilson, and Richard Jenkins.
The guy behind Brawl in Cell Block 99 is behind this movie. Expect good characters and quick violence. Brutally quick violence. Emphasis on brutal.
It can be a bit slow at times, and the old west was apparently crazy polite, but it pays off.
Good film.

Been meaning to catch that one.

O would have sworn we had a thread for this, as I saw it a few years ago and figured that would only be because someone here discussed it, but I can find no thread
I did not love it. It felt pretty pointless other than for violence.

It's not me, it's someone else.

Yeah, it was awesome. It felt pretty pointless other than for violence.
Seriously though, I thought the point was:
1. Some people suck.
2. Some people are fucking awesome.
3. The old west sucked.
4. Love can give you strength.
5. Men now compared to then are massive pussies.

I liked how they put together a crew of different personalities, but they were all competent. No ne'er-do-wells. Also liked the dialogue.

I also liked that the guy's wife was really hot. You kind of get what he would make that journey on a broken leg.
