How the CFP could be fucked this year.

I'm rooting for that last scenario.

6 teams at 12-1 or undefeated? Not even counting UCF or the Pac-12 winner? Sign me up for chaos!

How hard is it to say:
1-5 - Every Power 5 champion
6-8 - An undefeated ND, then an undefeated Group of 6 champ with SOS over ___ and ranked in the top 10, and finally 1-3 teams (ND or P5 teams) picked by a committee.

The 1-3 at large teams can only include 1 P5 team from a conference. That's to eliminate bias and unfair advantage. So 3 P5 conferences could get an additional team in, while 2 would be left out.

D III player throws elbow to face of another player. The refs do not appear to have seen it, but the kid's been suspended from school.

His sucker punch was so tough the kid made the two free throws and led his team to victory.

He should be arrested and brought up on charges.

Always hard to tell this early in the season, but Villanova's won 2 of the past 3 years, been a 1/2 seed for 5 years running...

Speaking of awesome, a ridiculously young and inexperienced OSU team is now 3-0 with wins @Cincinnati and @Creighton.

Picked to finish in 8th place in the B10, but maybe they'll sneak a bit higher?

And that's a final. UNC wins 4-1, and heads to its first championship game since 2016.
I mean, that was only two years ago...

Someone told me earlier this year we played UNC. I thought, "Shit. Catt's gonna give me hell." Then I saw we didn't play you and was thrilled. However, it's Syracuse, so we're still fucked.

No, but seriously, this is a historically bad OSU team.

By the way, something nobody is talking about is how Alabama was tied at 10-10 in the 3rd quarter with a DII team.

Kind of takes the wind out of Michigan's sails, huh?

Les Miles is the new coach at Kansas.

Good hire for Kansas. Weird job for Miles.

Cowherd is saying two sources have told him Meyer is retiring from football after the season.

Of course, Cowherd's track record on stuff like this isn't exactly perfect. We will see.

Guy's got to retire at some point. At the very least I see Schiano gone along with the O line coach, and possibly Wilson.

Considering Urb was born in Ohio (and both Harbaughs), and OSU was his dream job, I figure once he's done, he's done.

In fact, aside from Earl Bruce no OSU coach has gone on to coach anywhere else once they called it a career. Earl got railroaded for many reasons.
