In their defense, Belicheck is the devil. If he was willing to part with Garrapolo for only a second rounder, and leave himself with only 40 year old Tom Brady as his team's sole QB, that says something.

Who this trade affects.

Hint: Skins and Browns among others.

I wouldn't put it past Belicheck to grab Kaep now. Why not? Although, he, Brady, and Kraft are Trump guys, so...

I'm ready to let Cousins walk. Surprised no mention of Denver wanting Cousins given their lack of QB play.

I see the Pats as the 2nd least likely team for Kaep to go to, but it sure would be entertaining.

It really makes you wonder what's going on in NE. They have one QB on their roster, including practice squad. Are they shoving all in for one last year?

What free agent QB is better than Kaep at this point?

I just read that Brian Hoyer will be cut by the 49ers and return to NE to be their backup.

Holy shit. I get the connection to the Pats and Brady, but you're telling me you'd rather have Brian Hoyer over Kaep?

Kaep's lawyer says he'll be signed in the next 10 days.

However, he has to be a cock about it:
"I think within the next 10 days somebody will sign him," he said. "I think somebody's gonna sign him. I think the NFL has to come to their senses, and realize every day that goes by just proves the collusion case even more."
I hope, like Kaep's dumb cunt of a girlfriend's tweet, this costs him a job. He surrounds himself with assholes...

Browns can't even execute a trade correctly.
CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns failed to work out a trade that would have sent quarterback AJ McCarron to Cleveland, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

According to Schefter, the Bengals notified the league of the proposed trade at 3:55 p.m. ET, and the Browns notified the league shortly after 4 p.m. ET. Because the Browns were late, the league denied the trade. Cleveland protested with the league asking that the trade be approved. The NFL rejected the Browns protest.

The proposed compensation for McCarron would have been a second- and third-round pick in 2018, a source confirmed to Schefter. The Cincinnati Enquirer first reported the compensation.

In a deal that was completed minutes before the NFL's trade deadline Tuesday, the Carolina Panthers dealt top wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin to the Buffalo Bills for a third- and a seventh-round pick in the 2018 draft.
A bit surprised, but oh well.

I saw that and laughed and laughed and laughed. Sorry Stranger, but damn...

The Kelvin thing is probably a good trade in the long run. Panthers will win games this year, but not the Super Bowl. Kelvin can make some amazing plays, but was too inconsistent.

Uh, wrong Benjamin. Kelvin played for the Panthers. That's Travis Benjamin, who I've never heard of before.

Dammit. You are correct, this Benjamin was in my head because of this play over the weekend. This is the former Brown yes?

Apparently you cannot take the Browns out of a former Brown.
