Yay Netflix!
A Norwegian film about the mountain pass Åkneset that actually does threaten the town of Geiranger. A landslide is inevitable and will create a tsunami that will destroy the town. This movie has that event happen.
A geologist finds out this event is about to occur right before he and his family move away.
This is a by the numbers disaster film. He's the only one that sees it coming, his family splits up, we meet neighbors you know will die, the event occurs and somehow he's the only one who can rescue his family, etc.
I've seen better disaster films and I've seen worse. There's nothing here that you need to see that you haven't already.
Also, subtitles.
