I think I can also find some study at some point in the past which suggests that living out in the middle of nowhere in isolation with no one else around also contributes to mental illness.
No that's wrong.

Safe to say that life in general leads to mental illness?

I love visiting cities. I cannot imagine how people live in them, particularly with kids.

People who dislike cities shouldn't live in them. They are big and loud and definitely scary sometimes. If you enjoy them, you will likely thrive in them.

I won't comment on the kids part, having not procreated yet, but the childless life kinda owns.

It's sampling. Nobody wants to tromp over a hundred acres of fertilizer-scented pasture to knock on the door of a farmer who will just as likely decline to participate, nor will Buggywhip University (the PREE-MEERE chicken-sexing school of Eastern West Virginia) be getting very many research grants from the NIH.

Even when I was childless I always wondered why letting a child live in a city wasn't child abuse.

Know what they call the person who graduated from Chicken Sexing University of East WV with a C-average? They call that person a college graduate who is now qualified for a management position.

I like the conveniences, mostly being able to walk places, and having lots of things to do and variety, etc.

But I hate sharing walls with people. Never again.

I share walls. I haven't heard my neighbors making noise since 2004.

Maybe you should check on them?

Bah, I was born and raised in the city, bitches. Civilization ftw.

Hah. If that uni kept their accreditation up to state and national levels. Otherwise, they might as well having a chicken fucking degree.

No, I think I made mine. From my point of view, I'm the Voyager space probe. I can't believe I'm still transmitting. The city didn't destroy me ... as it does some pussies.

Even Trump's willing to share his wall with Mexico. Besides...

"But I love gatherings. Isn't it ironic?"
Everyone psych type test I take says I'm extraverted.

Dude.

The persona you wear on this forum is the most broken, happiness-averse person I have ever seen. (But then I don't eat soylent, so...)

You say that like it's a bad thing. Anyhow, you remind me of my buddy who says I possess the emotional and creative abilities of Bender Bending Rodriguez. For a happiness-averse person, I find both to be exceedingly funny. And wrong.

Your mom something something something. Another tired, yet comical theory.

You do know that'll mix into almost anything right? Even ice cream.

I'd said try it, but I'm guessing test subjects are hard to COME by.
