No word on whether they'll be wearing brown or black shirts, possibly with colour-coordinated armbands.
Politicians often urge supporters to get out and vote. But Donald Trump wants them to go further: get out and vote, and then stake out polling places to watch for cheating.

At a Friday campaign event in Altoona, Penn., the Republican presidential nominee said voting might not be enough for him to win.

"The only way we can lose in my opinion — I really mean this — in Pennsylvania, is if cheating goes on," Trump said. "We have to call up law enforcement. And we have to have the sheriffs and the police chiefs and everybody watching."

Trump is apologizing.

Maybe someone finally convinced him that all he'd need to do to win is shut his mouth?

Donald Trump on Thursday expressed regret over causing “personal pain” through ill-chosen words he has used “in the heat of debate,” an unexpected and uncharacteristic declaration of remorse for a candidate whose public persona is defined by his combative and bombastic style.
In the heat of debate, my ass. Unless he's in a state of perpetual argument, that still leaves a large vault of ever quotable dipshitisms.
Speaking Thursday, Trump did not specify what he regretted and did not directly apologize to anyone.
That's not much of an apology. Bart Simpson's done better.
“While sometimes I can be too honest...
Wow. And backtracking on the apology already. Apparently he's Jack Nicholson and we can't handle the truth.

I think going to LA is a smart move as well. Obama couldn't be bothered to interrupt his vacation to address it/ At this point Obama is allowed to show he cares as much as he actually does. Which is "not at all".

Guess who came to town today. I went to hear him speak and thirty minutes elapsed before I found out I was in the wrong place, and had been listening to an usually tall pile of talking dog shit. He's also now ejecting his own supporters from his rallies.
Attempting to verify his political beliefs, Anantha said he was a conservative and expressed views in line with those of Trump, including opposition to Black Lives Matter protesters, who were demonstrating Thursday night outside the venue, and his belief that "radical Islam is a large threat to our country."

"I couldn't believe what was going on," he said of the incident. "Obviously now I'm very angry. I've wasted a bunch of time coming here. I may have wasted six months of my life supporting Donald Trump, who doesn't even let me come to his rallies."
Running ads against Democrats who aren't in the race, his complete lack of TV ads of any kind, the turnover on the top spots in his staff, pachyderms refusing to endorse him (and those who are voting for someone besides him), and now actively throwing away votes by pissing off one of the few minority dudes in his camp. Nice. The Trumpster Fire is burning a strong, vibrant orange.

Trump makes head-scratcher of a speech.
Speaking to a predominantly all-white audience of about 6,000 people, Trump appealed directly to blacks for votes.
...
Early in the speech, Trump focused his attention on African-American voters, perhaps aware that analysts have said his chances of election are slim if he can't do better with minorities. He predicted that given a chance to govern, he would win 95% of the African American vote in the future.
...
A recent EPIC-MRA poll reported by the Free Press last week showed Trump behind Clinton in Michigan among black voters by a margin of 85%-2%, with 10% undecided.
2%? That many?
"Mexico will become the car capital of the world very quickly and Michigan is going to end up with a lot of empty buildings all over the place unless you elect Donald Trump," he said.
Michigan and the auto industry go hand-in-hand with bankruptcy, which is something Cheeto the Fragile knows about.

Still playing the fraud card.
After the 2012 presidential election, some conservatives made claims of voter fraud in Pennsylvania that were never substantiated. Mark Braden, a Republican election lawyer, said that while there have been cases of voter fraud over decades, “the election system in the United States generally works extremely well and fraud, although real, is modest.”
Roger J. Stone Jr., an informal adviser to Mr. Trump, wrote in The Hill that electronic voting machines could be “manipulated.”

“We are now living in a fake reality of constructed data and phony polls,” he added.
Constructed data and phony polls? Isn't that the Trump University defense strategy?
Mr. Braden, the Republican election lawyer, said that sweeping talk about fraud could backfire in tight Senate races in which Republicans end up ahead by a slim margin.

“From my perspective, no, it is not helping,” he said. “A more measured, thoughtful discussion of the issue, which is worth discussing, would be helpful.”

“But that,” he added, “does not seem to be his style.”
No shit.

I think it was proven that Franken won on fraud, but it was well after the election and they decided to not do anything about it..... and then Obamacare passed with his vote?

It was not proven as fact, but there was enough illegal voting that it COULD have swayed the election of Franken. (ie., Franked won by like 300 votes, and there were 400 that seemed to be illegal)

It was a while back, I don't remember all the details. Something about felons voting?

Yes, about 400 verified felon votes. But, no one knows for whom they voted, so no idea if it tilted the election. Additionally, this is the only verifiable election fraud, so who knows about any other potential fraud.

So the number of votes that mattered was lower than the margin of error they give during counting? Shocking.

Ann Coulter released new book "In Trump We Trust" yesterday. Her big issue was the immigration problem. Saying after latest flip flop this might be her shortest book tour ever.

Saw a good point on the "Trump voters are afraid to tell pollsters they are voting for Trump" argument... they are still showing up at rallies in large numbers. Don't you think they'd be more worried about cameras outside rallies than pollsters on the other end of a phone?

I'm sure the Secret Service thinks the same thing every time they brief you.
“I only worry for the country in that Hillary Clinton was careless and negligent in allowing Weiner to have such close proximity to highly classified information. Who knows what he learned and who he told? It’s just another example of Hillary Clinton’s bad judgment. It is possible that our country and its security have been greatly compromised by this.”
