I get it. He says it right in the intro video. It's basically an all-in-one keyboard and full-size screen for your phone. If you have a good phone, don't already have laptop, and don't want to spend more than $99 on one then this might be a good deal.
I think it'll be bigger in third-world countries. There are a lot of people out there with smart phones who can't afford a laptop.

I understand the bigger keyboard and screen. What I don't understand is using the piece of shit Droid OS like it's a laptop.

I would get my kids a Droid OS laptop once the Chrome/Droid OS can run all Android apps. I get it.
