The Transporter 2

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Stupid plot, great action.

Jason Statham plays The Transporter in this sequel to the minor cult hit and he is fantastic in this role. He plays a calm, collected heavy who favors using his brains rather than brawn, but when he is forced into violence likes to use his fists before guns.

The plot is really just an excuse to have people fight and get into car chases, so I won't massacre it, but don't expect it to be very solid. In fact, one key element of it will drive you apeshit if you let it.

As for the action, "over the top" doesn't begin to describe it. There is a scene in which The Transporter has to get a bomb off of his car and it may be one of the most bullshit I've ever seen on film, but it was cool.

Still, the original was more stylish than this effort and I hope they get back to the transporter's real profession in the third installment.

The first one was definitely better. The Bridgette Neilsen wannabe didn't do a thing for me. I did like the nod they gave to the first one by bringing back the French detective. He's a cool character.
Wadda mean? Other people can read this?!
