I don't even have this site bookmarked, I just type "youtube old embed code" and hit enter and it is the first link.

Cut and paste the new youtube embed code in the top window, click the "Generate" button, and then copy all of the code between the

Code: Select all

<object>
tags so you don't get an advertising link under the vid. All in all, I can do all of that in about 7 seconds.

Writing a new forum is an entirely different bag of radioactive wombats. Double plus work, but ultimate customizability, and you're as secure as your OCD needs you to be.

We've discussed:
1) locating better software ... I personally think this is the best bet
2) hacking the existing code ... who the fuck else knows Perl?

Catt pointed out an option for existing software and some conversion tool to bring over the existing database, but he'd know that stuff better than me.
