Meanwhile, the Republicans are bound to stop talking about rape, and I'm betting will find a candidate that isn't a multi-millionaire that the MSM can tell folks "doesn't represent you".
Granted, the Dems will blame the next four years on "the party of no" since they control the House, but still, that's only going to work on the Dem's core base.

Chris Christie is an asshole, but he seemed like the right sort of asshole. But no, he just told his entire state to go fuck itself (by vetoing a New Jersey state bill passed nearly unanimously that had the approval of 97% of his constituents) for no other reason than because he wants to be President and it would have played poorly in Iowa. I don't give much of a crap about the pigs or this bill, but that is exactly the sort of political bullshit that I thought he wouldn't do and was the only reason I had any interest in him as a candidate at all. Now I have zero interest left.
He may have gained some small approval in Iowa, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that just lost all respect for him. Unless this is completely forgotten and not brought up again I suspect he just threw away his already slim chances in 2016.
EDIT: Not that I can think of anyone else who could possibly be the next Republican president, though. There simply aren't any Republicans with any charismatic qualities to them while the Democrats are overall disliked but have a few charismatic folks still running around the party. I suspect we're in for at least four more years of a Democratic presidency even while they lose even more seats in congress. Probably eight.
