Taken except it's not Liam's kid and there's very, very little action. This is mostly a talker that's more about people's demons than Liam kicking ass.
I wouldn't mind that, but:
1. They marketed this as an action film.
2. It's not that good.
3. The bad guys were a fucking awesome concept, and are wasted here.
4. The bad guys' job creates a massive logic hole.
I will say that the action is firmly grounded in reality. Peeps die when they should die and fights are short.
They could have kept Liam's demons, dumped the angle they used to pick the victims, Liam's weird mentor relationship with the kid, and all the other subplot bullshit and had a hell of a cat and mouse film to rival Kiss the Girls.
Skip it.
