School vs. American Flag

School in South Carolina tells kid to take American flag off his truck.

Community responds forcing the school to completely back down.

Looks like the school kind of had a point and the blowback was pretty much for the wrong reason. The school said the flag was a driving hazard, it had nothing to do with being offensive.

I've never had a problem with not being able to see past the bed of a truck. Using that logic, the bed campers should be prohibited as well.

School should leave it to the police and highway folks to decide what's a road hazard. Hell, most schools aren't doing what their responsible for very well. Let's have them focus more on the education part.

With a good tailwind and slow speed through a parking lot I could see those flags wrapping around the side windows, and possibly the windshield.
