ScarJo as The Female, an alien who lures men that are alone (no attachments) to a black room where they are converted to food.i know that not because of the movie, but because I looked into WTF I just watched. Apparently, that's sort of the plot of the book it's very loosely based on and has almost nothing in common with.
Just a terrible fucking movie. The director is a self absorbed asshole who thinks he's an artist so he does all the bullshit cliche artist shots throughout the film. There are vast lengths of the film where there's no talking at all and the image on screen barely moves. I checked to see if I accidentally paused the movie several times. We're talking 10-15 minutes with no dialogue and nothing happening on screen. This film makes The Blair Witch Project look action packed.
That being said, I'll give it some props:
-ScarJo does all her own nude scenes and she gets naked as naked gets. She may not have the "perfect" body, but she owns it and her confidence is sexy.
-There is a really disturbing scene about halfway through the movie. More so because of how realistic it is and how well it shows the fragility of life. A similar thing took place here over the winter (I'd explain, but no spoilers.). It's the best scene of the movie by a mile. Very out of place here.
-All the scenes of ScarJo picking up guys were apparently real. The guys didn't know they were in a movie until later, except one who broke his leg on the way to the audition. Why did only he audition? It's obvious once you see the movie.
Oh, and while you will enjoy ScarJo naked, Butters would warn you about the scenes when she lures guys back.
There are interesting moments of ScarJo nudity and a disturbingly well done scene, but overall this is a boring mess of a film.
