Garfunkel and Oates - Yay! Netflix

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Chick folk comedy singers who are funny. I have seen their random vids on this forum from time to time.

Anyway, they have a show or something now, and it is on Netflix. I watched the first episode last night and in spite of being pretty tired at the time it made me laugh more than once. I compare this to Inside Amy Shumer. Funny girls saying funny things with pretty much nothing off limits.

Oates is awesome. Garfunkel is just okay. Together they're pretty good.

It's a good series. Shame it was canceled.

Well, technically it wasn't canceled but IFC decided not to buy a second season.

Maybe they'll shop it around elsewhere.

Comedy Central's always willing to buy.

Whoa - I was JUST wondering what happened to the girl who is Oates the other day.

She was awesome on Scrubs.

All eight eps were directed by Fred Savage.

She was on The Big Bang Theory for a bit and she was on some show called Raising Hope, but otherwise I think it's been all Garfunkel and Oates stuff and her live show in LA "Playing with Micucci".
