Longmire - Yay! Netflix

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Just started this one. It's about a Wyoming county sheriff in a county remote even compared to most of Wyoming, and the wacky adventures he has. At first I was wondering how this show would be able to have a murder a week in the most sparsely populated state, but they actually had an answer for that in the second episode, so ok.

Starbuck from the new BSG is in it, and I think she is hotter here than she ever was in BSG.

Also Chavez E. Chavez is in it, now that he is done doing it with his horse.

There are two short seasons on Netflix, I will probably finish it.

I'm in the middle of season 2. It remains "ok," and I like the occasional cowboy stuff he does, but....

Meh.

It doesn't really have any "fuck yeah!" moments.

A&E said it pulled the plug on "Longmire" because it appeals primarily to older viewers—the median age of the show's viewers is 60 versus 48 for the network as a whole—and it doesn't have an ownership stake in the show.

Thanks for helping me put my finger on it.

Was there just 2 seasons?

3 seasons, Netflix doing the 4th

Guess Netflix needed to attract old people.

Finally a badass moment at the end of season 2 when Walt threatens apocalypse on a dude by quoting The Iliad at him.

Season 2 actually ended good enough that I want to start S3 now. It also ended with a Marylin Manson song, which is kind of weird.

Season 3 was better, a little grittier and more intense.

S4, the Netflix season, remained the same with a few more "shits" added into the dialogue. Ended on a classic cliffhanger, I don't know if a S5 is planned yet.
