Microsoft going to start focusing on PC Gaming!

What a great day in gaming history! It's about time Microsoft focuses on the largest audience in gaming, and an audience they already own!

Wait...what do you mean they've already said something like this before?

More than once!?

How many of you knew I was trolling just based on the thread title alone? I'm betting most of you.

Microsoft stockholders are morons. That's the only explanation for how Phil Spencer still has a job and why the X-Box exists.

Although I do find it hilarious that 10 years ago PC gamers were having to defend the "demise" of their platform against elitist console players, and now 10 years later the shoe is on the other foot.

Not just the title, but after that title and seeing the first word of your post was "Microsoft" I knew it was sarcasm.

Microsoft stockholders are morons.

They put up with Steve Ballmer's crazy ass for ... how long?

When I saw this article, or something similar a couple of days ago, I was just waiting for you to comment on it.

Back in June, Spencer said "gaming on Windows is critical to Microsoft's success," and before that, he admitted that Microsoft needs to do more to support PC gamers, saying part of his job as Head of Xbox is to "bring back our Windows gaming focus."

Wait, what? The goal of the XBox initiative is to bring the game focus back to ... Windows? Sounds like vintage MS.

I'm really committed to us getting back to supporting both Xbox as much as we ever have, and also PC...

So you're not really focusing on either one?

Microsoft's gaming division is an embarrassment. Gamers know it, but stockholders don't.

The console MS should have been making instead of the X-Box One is called a Steam Box.

I figured it was a Half Life 3 release date.

Microsoft was, once upon a time, one of the top PC game makers. Age of Empires was theirs, for one. They were indeed dumbasses for focusing on the XBox when they certainly had the means to develop for both platforms. They would not now be trying to revive their PC game division, it would already be there.

MS achieving success is like when you throw a ball up in the air and it's suspended perfectly for a fraction of a microsecond. Then it starts falling.
