Re: The Democratic Party
5+ months to come up with the accounting error and the <$100K value all while massive amounts of fraud was being uncovered in her district and by many of her closest supporters/donors?
Know hard hard it is to get an accountant to respond in tax season?
Should I also believe Pelosi just happens ...

Re: The Democratic Party
$30M (or even $6M) and $100K are dramatically different numbers. There is no excuse or reality that justifies confusing $30M and >$100K while it was publicly scrutinized over a period of months.
She responded when the scrutiny started that the large numbers were incorrect. But I don't know why ...

Re: The Democratic Party
The $6M to $30M felt like a mistake to me, and it makes sense that the true number is lower. However, the < $100k seems just as, or more suspicious. So unclear what reality is.Leisher wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2026 1:33 pm This dumb fuck needs to be fined, jailed, have her citizenship revoked, and then deported.

I'm against it, but understand it. I always liked the tax it approach. Though then you get illegal vapes/cigs/etc.

I wish I had gone to that 99 one. GOD DAMN that's an amazing lineup. 9 bands on Saturday I'd want to see. 10 more on Sunday.
Friday 7, Saturday 4, Sunday 3 (iggy pop! wet leg!) for the curent one.

Ah, the financial crisis overhang. Our first was born 2007, college very competitive. Our second, late 2010, in the mini-baby bust. The baby bust kept going though, it's all downhill until at least 2020.

Mid-year retest. I think they do most, but not all of the same panels. Things look better than before. My "biological age" is down to 40.6, so 11 years younger than real, if you believe that.
My LDL (bad) cholesterol is 66. Same as last time. HDL (good) cholesterol up to 42. Nothing very exciting.

So far it's very interesting. A little slow at some points, but interesting.

DTF St. Louis (HBO MAX)
Two middle-aged dudes are a little bored in their marriages. One has money issues, the other is a local TV weatherman. They become besties! Then one dies (murdered?). Then there are several episodes about what really happened. In theory there's an app named DTF St. Louis for local hookups, but it ...

Building a dinky server to maybe be a media server.
It came with Windows 11 home. Ugh, no remote desktop. Microsoft asks "Wanna see upgrade options?" "Sigh, I guess, gets CC ready". "Click here for Pro". No $$. Nice.
