So everyone knows what's going on at Penn State, but just in case, Jerry Sandusky was a coach there who has apparently been molesting kids since 1998. Or to put it a better way, that's when he was first caught.
Anyway, his actions have all recently come to light and it has completely disgraced the school. They first their president, VP, athletic director, and legendary head coach Joe Paterno. Odds are that they will not be the only ones fired. Meanwhile, the public abhors Jerry Sandusky, and he's easily the most hated man in the U.S. right now. (Obama is thrilled!)
Recruits and potential students are transferring to new schools. They have lost corporate sponsors. Many predict Penn State's football program may never recover because who wants to be associated with this heinous crime?
Meanwhile, I saw a movie poster today for Carnage and realized it was a new movie by Roman Polanski. Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christopher Waltz, and John C. Reilly all star in it.
Roman Polanski is a CONVICTED child rapist who ran overseas rather than face trial here in the U.S. yet here he is still embraced by Hollywood, and he was even given a standing ovation at the Oscars.
Is Hollywood this out of touch with reality? Are they not also parents? Hell, are they not also human beings? Do they not understand that this is why so many people think they're morally corrupt?
Personally, I think there are a lot of folks in Hollywood who disagree with bullshit like this, but know that if they don't "play along" they'll be blacklisted.
