I just asked a cheeky question and got scolded.

"What percentage of pit bull owners have a college degree?"

https://www.google.com/search?q=what+pe ... e&ie=UTF-8
According to available data, there is no definitive, widely accepted statistic on the exact percentage of pit bull owners who hold a college degree, as such demographic information is not readily tracked in comprehensive studies; however, it's important to note that generalizing about pit bull owners based on education level is inaccurate and can perpetuate harmful stereotypes as people from diverse backgrounds own pit bulls.
Personally I guess less than 1%.

I know of a pit owner who graduated with a Psych degree.

I'd go with 5-10%.

I think 90% of my redneck neighbors own pit bulls.

And most mutts are probably part pit. It's the other stuff that keeps them from suddenly eating the baby when they turn 8.

Yes, I got that message yesterday that they disabled it.

I remember wondering years ago why ad-driven google allows ad blockers. I guess they are looking for one more $x.01 billion in profit.

By the way, I was using 3.

I also have Adblock Plus, and Adguard Adblocker. Both are still functioning, for now.

The thing I liked about UBlock was that if there was a "hey sign up" window blocking the content, I could manually zap it with ublock about 75% of the time and get it out of the way. I'll miss that.

A couple of things:
1. I'm come to not like Mozilla at all. I haven't used it in over a year, yet it randomly still "crashes" and needs to send a report. No, it's not in my start up files.
2. There's a uBlock-lite from the same guy that still works, but not as effectively as the main version.
3. Have you guys tried Brave?

Chuckle.

Brave is Chrome with all the google shit ripped out.

Duck Duck Go also has a browser.

No idea if they block ads, but they're supposed to be very privacy heavy.

Ok the last two days I am noticing that 75% of webpages won't let me read because there is a big "disable your ad blocker first" window popping up over everything.

I bet a dollar UBlock Origin was blocking those, which is why Chrome stopped "supporting" it.

Like, is there any other thing that makes you think "company name FUCK YOU" than them acknowledging you are overrun with ads, but they don't care, and if you want to read the AI generated article then you need to see ads?

I've begun a transition to Edge. Can't deal with the popups.

Good move, Chrome. Lost a ten year user.

When you say "pop ups", what do you mean? Like additional windows being opened?

Edge is built on the same engine.

Again, you might want to try Brave and Duck Duck Go.

I mean the script windows that tell me to disable my ad blocker

Ublock Origin is still active in Edge, and it fixed it.

I am mentally prepared to try Firefox if I can't get use to Edge's layout. It still feels annoying to me. I don't like the side tabs, for one.

Edge is working better for me, especially since I just now figured out I could set it for top tabs, instead of the side tabs. Now it is identical in look, to what i was used to. And the entire point is UBlock Origin still works. So, no going back.
