Conditions:
Only you can be immortal (no friends, spouse, etc)
You can be whatever biological age you want.
You heal, so you would not develop arthritis or other overuse injuries over time.

Can you terminate voluntarily or is this one of those "cursed to walk the earth forever" types of immortality?

I dunno, I pondered that, but couldn't decide.

How about every 100 years you get to decide? Or if the world becomes uninhabitable somehow, you do die.

Spaceships. I mean, I don't really care what the ultimate "out" is, long as I've got one.

Right, nothing's eating your liver out for eternity or making you suffer 1000 degree burns forever, etc.

My biggest problem is figuring out a way not to be bored for aeons.

Granted you're asking people if they want to break the most fundamental aspect of reality that every living thing has had to obey since the beginning of time, so I'll sidestep the massive number of secondary issues that generates and address your question directly. I'll just speak for myself.

Do you want the list?

Well yeah, but not if it is eternal suffering.

One problem with an eternity of banging hot chicks is that after a while they would all be your descendants.

Check out The Man From Earth sometime. It was on Netflix when I watched it a while back.

New question:

Are we still where we're from in this life or are we all from Alabama?

After 150 years when your investments start delivering and you become really rich, and it is a new hot gold digger every night, I bet it would only take about 1000 years before your DNA is through the population.

Just a guestimate. But I don't think it would take long on a geological scale.

Going with just the initial set of conditions, no.
Humans are temporary. Heck, planets are temporary. I don't want to spend a few billion happy years on Earth only to haunt in cold/dark isolation for infinitely longer.

If I could voluntarily terminate, or decide to become mortal, heck yeah I'd do it.

If I spent an eternity banging chicks I wouldn't knock them up. I'm not a rapper or professional athlete!
I might have a few kids at a time, with the right person. Life is better if you share it.

Diversifying mega-investments will be interesting.
After awhile I'd practically own a few countries. I'd have to set up vast estates in various parts of the world in the case of political upheaval.
If a new Hitler arises, I want to be able to relocate and still be mega-rich.

The sad thing is if I took this immortality drug, then in 400 years I'd still have Steam games I haven't played yet.
