You're a little blob that shoots monsters that come down from the top, like Super Mario Brothers, except with weapons and the creatures are fast. If they make it all the way to the bottom, they get mad and come back down from the top at 2x speed. Meanwhile, you try to pick up crates. Every crate changes your active weapon. As you pick up more, you unlock new weapons. In order to unlock new characters and new levels, you have to get a certain number of crates with one life. Any time you die, your score resets.
I managed to get 15, once.
