I had to call for support on an issue, and they sent me an email survey thing regarding my experience with the call. One question is:
"If you had your own company that was focused on service, how likely would you be to hire this person?"
What does that even mean? I wanted to answer:
"In a make believe world where I was running a business in a field I'm not interested in, I would make believe hire this person a million times over."
What kind of useful information can you get from asking about my hiring practices in a business I don't run, have no interest in running, let alone any experience running?
Q: If you were an investor, would you invest in this company?
A: ummm. I'm not an investor, but, sure.
"9 out of 10 investors would invest in our company!"*
*except that none of the people we talked to were investors or knew anything about investing. But, they had money in their wallet, so we think that qualifies them somehow, or something.
