So.... anyone here gotten snipped?

I've talked to two people about it so far, both of whom had horrible, horrible stories to tell.

Buddy of mine had it done. He just said he was in pain for a day or so, then it was generally over.

Getting snipped is the woman's responsibility.

Just got snipped in November.

First day sucked, but didn't. Sat in bed watching movies all day with various bags of frozen veggies on my crotch.

Second day was a little worse because you start moving around. After that things get better, but you're a LOT more aware of your boys.

That wears off in a few weeks. That's when you get into trouble.

A month after my surgery I was jumping on the trampoline with my kid, and had no issues. The next day at work around 10:30 a.m. it felt like someone kicked me in the balls. 60 minutes of pain later I called the doctor. Still managed to go to lunch and work for a few more hours only having to pause a few times due to the pain. Finally got to the doctor late in the afternoon to see a nurse practitioner. What was really odd about that is she was attractive and was allowed to examine me without anyone else in the room. You can read the rest of the story in next month's Penthouse Forum...

Oh, and my boys were fine. I just "overdid it". Yes, a month later. (Now you know why my workout programs abruptly stopped.)

I heard wearing really tight underwear and to much alcohol has the same effect. Actually know someone who had to stop drinking and wear boxers. Have no idea but he has 2 children now.

There's no way you'll ever convince me that increasing alcohol intake leads to fewer children. How many people wouldn't be alive if it weren't for booze?

She is tired of the sloppy screw with the booze hound. She goes elsewhere. Maybe more boozehounds should look into DNA. Not that it would matter your name on the certificate you pay the support.

Early in our marriage, my wife wanted 2 kids, and I wanted 3 (She has 1 sibling, I have 2 - coincidence?) At any rate, after our 2nd, she changed her mind, and so did I. I was D O N E having kids. Our kids take so much out of me that I can't imagine trying to raise one more.

At any rate, she finally relented last night. So at some point, snip snip will be coming up. I'm just thinking of it as a 2-day work vacation.

That was amazingly uneventful.

Took a valium (10mg) about 2 hours before the procedure... was more like having 2 beers than being loopy, was expecting more.

Guy and nurse and I had a conversation the whole time. 3 stings (not even bee-sting caliber stings), little bit of pressure on one side, other side didn't feeling anything. 10 minutes tops.

Sitting at home with bag of ice on my junk.
