On Friday, Kerry knocked voters as clueless for not paying close enough attention to national issues and being too easily swayed by catchy slogans.
“We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening,” Kerry said.
This is exactly the kind of dick I always knew he was.

It's the double standard that pisses me off.
When Bush was reelected, the dems said the country was stupid. When Obama was elected, the dems said the country was newly enlightened and ready to move on. Now that the dems are in trouble two years later, dickheads like Kerry are preemptively calling the country stupid, again. You would think none of these people have memories that go back farther than a year.
And like my quote above, I've personally hated Kerry since he went to Ohio and said what he said, trying to "fit in" with how he perceived the people of Ohio... ignorant and lacking knowledge of basic grammar.
I gave Obama the benefit of the doubt on his presidency... there have been no front page posts about him... even though I've personally hated him since his pandering, "The scared people bitterly cling to their guns and religion and fear of people who aren't like them" speech. These are majority of Americans he is speaking about. I really have no idea how he got elected (cough ACORN cough). I personally don't think most Americans are stupid, the way Kerry and Obama do.

The proof is the officials that are elected. If they mostly weren't such complete fuckwits, I might believe the people who voted them into office have an average IQ that exceeds 5. And you can't cry corruption for every single election. Stupid people are taken advantage of every day, more & more as more random bits of info become available about them.
