Manchurian Volume 2

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Good Lord, I just watched it with low expectations based on how good the original was (my favortie movie of all time).

I'm pretty sure no one has posted it yet but I was pretty pleased with what was done... Not quite as good an ending as the original but the story until then was very much what i would have expected with enough twists and differences to keep me on my toes.

Also the director/producer's use of confusion in movement and lighting in scenes reflected the minds and dispositions of both the Major and VP.

Definetly worth a watch if you enjoyed the original

I watched both versions this past weekend. I thought the original was great (I finally understand why some people like Sinatra, he was REALLY good in this). However, all the things I liked about it were stripped from the remake, which I consider to be a steaming pile of shit next to the original.

Oh, it might be a fine movie on it's own. I can't tell, though, as I was too hung up on how very much better the first one was in comparrison, and how utterly shallow the remake turned out to be.

I didn't take into consideration watching it right after the orginal... i definetly wouldnt do that simply because of how much I loved the original... Kind of like watching ESB and then seeing episode 1
