To me, yes, planting the flag is a classless act, just like any other trash talking, taunting, etc. It's just another form of that. What shouldn't be tolerated is a 'violent response'. Of course the Ohio police pepper sprayed the Michigan players who were under attack by the OSU players! This comes off as a 'cry more' response from OSU, to me. And I'm not saying that because we were the ones doing it, or because it's OSU. ANYONE that passes a law restricting sports related taunting, etc is kind of crying a bit. That being said, I HATED seeing our players do that. I've always been the "We're better than that" person, and I don't like it. NCAA making a rule? Sure. They've already done similar. But the state doing it? Come on.
