That's a bit strange. I don't think they thought that through.

The biggest news from yesterday was obviously the first CFP rankings coming out.

OSU's road is clear: Win out in the regular season and they can afford to not play in or even lose (competitively) the B1G title game and they're in. Undefeated Indiana is looming. That's a sentence I never thought I'd type about football.

Still lol.

They haven't played anyone good, but they've taken care of business. Miami 2.0.

WAY closer than I expected, or we deserved. Indiana choked the second half. If only there was some consistency.

JFC, they are terrible. And Deion is horrific at coaching. Like he doesn't know what's going on in the game. Trying to get into FG range for the first half, completely forgets to take a time out, loses 10 seconds on the clock (they had 3, with 25 seconds left).

He'll be fired if he doesn't leave voluntarily within 2 years.

ESPN has Colorado 38th in FPI, let's see where that is next week: https://www.espn.com/college-football/fpi

Is it? Or is it that they've played a terrible schedule?

I mean, sure, there's caveats, but they've won. Which looked super unlikely after that Nebraska disaster.

Week 12 CFP playoffs

Is the conference championship criteria for getting a 1st round bye stupid? I can't decide. I like the concept, but it's rewarding 2 teams right now for playing in weak conferences. Not saying it's the wrong move, just unsure. It IS probably the most fair way to do it.

I like it. Especially since it kinda punishes those over-expanding conferences.

Florida State might be really bad this year, but but at least their recruiting class is also being decimated. :D

OSU @ NW today, but not at the cool temp stadium right on Lake Michigan. No, they're at Wrigley Field.

This is the strangest setup I've ever seen. There's a huge part of the field unused. Meanwhile, parts of the sideline are right against the wall. It's almost like arena football.
