Absolutely pointless, short statements.

For stuff that is general.

I was just sitting here thinking of my next task, and saw a Lord of the Rings meme on the internet.

So I just fired up Fellowship Extended, on Max.

Lol. My family just watched the entire series over the past 2 days. My wife had reread it recently. 13 year old loved it.

They watched extended, extended, regular. In retrospect they wish they had switched the middle and last for extended and regular.

LOTR rules.

Somehow my partner had not seen ANY of the trilogy, ever. So we watched the whole extended version starting a few weeks ago, finished it in a week of nightly sessions, pretty good, lots of scenes I didn't remember and were a little... un-streamlined compared to the regular trilogy.

For some reason I still watch the extended version of Return of the King and expect there to be a scourging of the shire sub plot at the end. But... that's a book only thing.

Yeah, my wife was surprised it wasn't in any version.

Without it, we don't see the drastic changes in the Hobbits from when they left, to when they return.

Lmao, so true. I think they were like a foot taller and speckled with magic gear. Level 20 adventures.
