Why the face? That's exactly what is happening right now.

I also had Duke covering, and they're doing that easily.

But the line was too high!

Bad news for Cake as TTUN loses 2 4 star recruits.

I never begrudge kids for withdrawing to play at home. Happens to all schools all the time.

NO IT WASN'T! The line I saw was 7... and we won by 18. YET ANOTHER B10 LOSS TO THE ACC!

I will always begrudge them for playing at Kentucky, though.

I don't begrudge them for wanting to play at home. I begrudge the whole system for letting people 'commit', then 're-commit', etc. At this point, commits mean nothing and I roll my eyes every time I see one. I bet $10 they don't play for Kentucky, or whoever they just 'committed' to.

I don't consider this as losing them, because I never would have thought we had them in the first place.

I agree with this take. OSU has also lost a ton of commits over the years.

Can't remember the last time we had 1 team from each "Power 5" in the top 5.

Agreed. Although next year it'll be two B1G and two SEC. A few more years and that's probably three SEC teams...

MSU tells Tucker they intend to fire him.

MSU: "We just wanted to say, 'thank you'. You saved us from one of our biggest blunders of all time. When we gave you that $100M contract we were the laughing stock of college football. Thanks for trading in phone sex for $80M. Hope it was worth it."

I wonder if they wish they had been able to keep Saban.

Well, no, they wouldn't have.

I wonder what the B10 would look like had he decided to stay though.

No chance. The B1G rules wouldn't have allowed him to do his scheduling tricks, oversign, play DII teams, and pay players.

True, the B10 just lets you molest athletes.

Tucker isn't happy. Expect a lawsuit.

The woman's story is also a bit shaky. Both of them having deleted all text messages between one another isn't a strong sign for her case either. I wonder if she knows that stuff can be recovered?

In news regarding that other school in the state, it's week 2 of the NFL season and Cowherd is already linking Jim Harbaugh to the 0-2 "their coach should have been fired last year" Los Angeles Chargers. Honestly, the third time might be a charm here. The Chargers are loaded on offense and defense. They have a top 5 QB. They're in California, which Harbaugh's wife has made no secret about wanting to return to. Harbaugh was just suspended by the NCAA for recruiting violations and word is between this, NIL, and so on, he's over college. He got his win over OSU and has appeared in the CFP.

IF the Chargers part ways with Staley and offer Harbaugh, he'd be an idiot to turn it down.

And FYI, if I could get Harbaugh to replace Tomlin, I would in a heartbeat.

That's logical.

Although...

Why MSU doesn't settle:
I think MSU has a case. Tucker did embarrass the university with his coaching and recruiting consensual or not relationship. It's still a marital affair with a vendor. Pretty sure that's verboten.

Why Tucker doesn't settle:
It's at a minimum 50% possible this woman is lying and this is a money grab. The stuff her lawyer says is basically the same shit David whatshisface, "Angel", faced back in the day and should be criminal. It's legalized extortion. I'd love to see their texts they both deleted prove him right and get a big win for men on a national stage. :D
