It's a Spring sport. It started a few weeks ago. That was just a single tournament. The championships are in May, usually Memorial Day weekend.
Technically, it's year round, but the College season is Feb-May, and teams play open/non-ranked tournaments in Fall.
But yeah, the points do add up. Every 3k points is about 41k of silver from hearts. I've got 70k points remaining after spending 20k or so. Also realized I had been hoarding my cabbage, and sold it off. Got about 600k of float now. Still have 400 of my original gold, too.
