It's a new presidential election cycle so queue the musicians upset when anyone not on the far left uses their music.

But wait, Trump's camp says they DID pay for the rights to use that song.

Would anyone be shocked if "whomever" took the check, and Neil still gets to thump his chest while cashing the check?

I'm surprised any Republican would want that song as their theme song.

Do they not understand it?

Didn't someone use Springsteen's, "Born in the USA" a while back? Politicians have a long history of not paying attention to the music they use.

Think that was back in the '84 election when Reagan's team didn't officially use it as his campaign song, but mentioned it in a couple of his speeches in Jersey.

Penn Jilette was asked about Trump's candidacy and he said he's a really smart guy, nuts, and refreshing because he speaks the truth. It's too bad he's crazy and the truth is filled with hatred.

Trump responded in his normal fashion, bashing Penn non stop on Twitter today.

Sometimes Trump sounds like a good option when he's quoting Reagen and bashing politicians on both sides. Then he sounds like a 10 year old whenever anyone criticizes him.

Not sure we need a president who will send troops to die because Putin said his hair looks bad.

Trump continues his baffling campaign.
“He was a war hero because he was captured,” Trump sarcastically told host Frank Luntz during the 2015 Family Leadership Summit. “I like people who weren’t captured.”

On the other hand, some of us refer to Purple Heart medals as "Enemy Marksmanship Badges."

Trump is resonating and it's hard to put my finger on why. I think he'd be a horrible President and can't see myself even voting for him, much less supporting him, but he's hit certain notes.

Left: If you send illegals back, you're heartless because you're breaking up families.
Trump: If you let them stay, they rape and kill people.
Left: He says all Mexicans are rapists!
Truth: Lots of illegals rape and kill people. Apparently the "if it saves one life" argument is reserved only for the left.

McCain: We should give these illegals a pathways to citizenship.
Right: McCain's for amnesty!
Left: McCain's a war hero maverick
Trump: McCain's no war hero for getting captured.
Truth: Every time the left agrees with McCain and the right doesn't they throw up his being a "POW war hero" to appeal to the patriotism of the right and we're kind of tired of hearing it. They don't speak of Chris Kyle as a war hero.

He resonates because he's simultaneously looking like a 'tard and spending his own money doing it. He's like Ross Perot was: fun to watch on the campaign trail but holy fucking Christ forbid he gets near a major party nomination. He'll make James Buchanan look good.

Why you should always listen to writers and never ad lib unless you're sure you don't suck at the kind of thing.
In an effort to respond to Donald Trump's controversial stance on immigration, Osbourne said: "If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?" She continued, "In the sense that...you know what I mean?

That's not true. The average age of gamers is somewhere in the 30s.

They vote. They know the anti-gaming movement is horseshit and they take personal offense to it.

Just looked it up:

I don't see the voting stats. I see a downward trend here since '08 unless you're a retiree. There are only four categories of voters here, and 25-44 seems like a big range.

You don't need to see the voting stats. You're specifically said that unless these folks can vote through a console, they won't vote. I said that's bullshit.

Anyone 18-44 would be considered a person who grew up gaming, so all those voters are "gamer" votes.

I'd argue that even more people are gamers than anyone realizes. Everyone with a smartphone plays games on it while shitting or waiting for a meeting.
