You're being overly negative about them giving away free premium time, a free mech, a free mech bay, a free statue, and a free camo pattern AND extending the time on it so more people can get the free stuff.

I also don't like the gameplay. I also don't like that it was a hard challenge, and you really had to kick ass and put in the effort to get the reward, but now, not really.
I was the angriest I have ever been in that game during the challenge, and it felt pretty good to actually win it. Then they watered it down. I have a right to have an opinion about that.

So I went to the forums, and apparently they weren't going to have an event this weekend. So instead of nothing, they decided to extend the event from the previous weekend and add on some rewards for folks who already got their free mech.
I don't care for the point system here either, but I think holding their feet to the fire over giving away free stuff is kind of dumb. Yeah, it takes the satisfaction out of last weekend a bit, but only because we let it. I mean, if you completed it, you still did the challenge.
And I'm not saying you shouldn't have an opinion about it. Nor am I saying your opinion is wrong. I'd say it's a bit off kilter, but is it wrong? No.
However, I would point out that I'm allowed to have an opinion too. As is Stranger, Cake (who my posts have been directed at), Scooty, and all those folks on the MW:O forums.
Also, I'm happy that you went and posted about it. You're not just bitching, you're expressing disappointment to the developer so they don't do something like it in the future.

I went back and checked and found that 7 of my last 9 games we were playing on Friday night were all qualifying matches. Teamwork= OP.
also found this little bit of info on targeting, ECM, BAP ect.. its not much but maybe it will clarify a little bit of confusion we are having.

Target Detection Range is 800m, 1000m, 1200m if you have a Line of Sight to the target - no Line of Sight = no Target!
800m standard
1000m with BAP or Sensor Range Module
1200m with BAP + Sensor Range Module
You also get all Targets that your Team has a Line of Sight to and targeted - be it direct or per little stationary drone that temporarily gives some airborne scouting data.
ECM will break most of these rules and it goes to far why - if you cant target an Enemy you or your Teams does see it has probably ECM cover.
BAP will counter 1 ECM in a range of 240m around it (if there are 2 ECM you need 2 BAP etc).
ECM will counter 1 ECM if it is in ECCM mode - but it will no longer offer ECM to friendly Units that way.
TAG (Target Aquisition Gear - a Laserbeam that is on the Target) may enable you to target 1 Enemy in ECM cover up to 750m away.
NARC is a Missile that has 450m range and sends a signal that makes a Mech targetable for while when an enemy Mech was hit by it - the Signal itself has a big range

Who knew that NARC was such a great item for a missile boat team? Also, I might look into throwing a Beagle into a few of my mechs. They're only 1 1/2 tons.

Did you know to drop in WoT CW, you need a full team of 12? Not 1-5 of us and 7-11 strangers matched up prior to the match, but a premade team of 12. I thought that was a bizarre design choice by the WoT people.

So far I am not really digging this Stalker. I sort of imagined it would be more tanky... the 5 or so games I have played, I have been shot down first and fast.
Also, I think I am a ballistics guy. This thing has 6 LR lasers, but I just don't feel it. Doesn't seem like I do any damage with them. Maybe if I can stay alive longer than 90 seconds that will change.
