I thought it was building up to this, since this is as ridiculous as anything else in that.

Lucas became a retard later in life.

I'm only calling this out because I remember playing KotOR (fuck, now I have to search Steam for it), but those things are supposed to be bigger than elephants.

I think it was in the same change/edit cycle that had Darth Vader moaning "NOOOOOOO!" as he threw the emperor into the pit in Jedi.... cuz.... u know... it "rhymes" with the "NO!" in episode 3.

Last time I watched Eps IV-VI might've been the first re-release back in the late '90s. I saw Ep I in the theatre. That was it. I have not watched anything Star Wars since then besides occasionally tuning in to the Clone Wars cartoon.
In short, I haven't seen the re-re-(re?)-imagining, so I didn't know about Vader-Emperor pit thing. Was Lucas so insane that he retroactively pussified the the Dark Lord of the Sith? In Ep V, when you see him from the back without his helmet for the first time, did Lucas digitally add some puppies and kittens in the background to humanize him?

My honest impression is in that the 20 years since he did Jedi, he surrounded himself with yes-men and he completely lost touch with reality.
Selling all his IP to Disney is the best thing that could have happened to the franchise (after he flew it into the ground), because that man is insane.
