I've heard of this show for a long time, finally decided to watch an episode during lunch.

Very much worth watching... if you are a gamer. I think it would mean nothing to you if you didn't know the culture and lingo. The first episode (it is called Season 1 in Netflix... one episode) is about a WoW (I think) guild that know each other well over voice chat in the guild, but never met in real life, until fate and circumstances bring them together. They don't know how to communicate with other live people until they fall into their guild roles, but in real life, where they actually slay a real-life dragon... figuratively.

It cracked me up hearing them speak like we do on League of Legends voice chat. It doesn't make me feel less pathetic, but at least I know am not alone in my patheticness. Patheticosity?

Great series. Wait until you get to season 2 and meet their evil counterparts. :)

Seeing someone say in real life, "Leave our healer alone, she's squishy" just kills me.

I figured out why they are called "seasons." I learned that these 1-1.5 hour long "episodes" are actually a bunch of web episodes all glued together. So, seasons.

Finished all 5 that are on Netflix, I guess they are making a season 6 right now.

Tons of great cameos in season 5. Peeps are calling in lots of favors from their coworkers in other projects.

There are gag reals on their website, but my fave thing was the "Haloween" short.

Season 6 is on "da flix" now.

We on the streets call it da flix. It's a pretty big deal.
