I could not agree more about The Mist and Castaway.

The Mist was bad ending.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was just an all around abortion.

I hated Return of the King...but not because it has so many "endings." When in fact they LEFT OUT a whole couple of chapters at the end.

Also, with Signs, it makes a whole lot more sense if they're not aliens, they're demons.

The only character I can think of that's stupid enough to get taken out by water is the Wicked Witch of the West. It's not 1939, it's not an L. Frank Baum acid trip story, it's bullshit.

They left off The Andromeda Strain, in which it turns out the virus had mutated to be harmless all along. That ending always bugged me. An otherwise excellent 70s sci-fi flick.
