Yay Netflix!

Mel Gibson plays some sort of thief who gets thrown in a Mexican prison.

I think this flick went straight to DVD, which is surprising because it seems like a solid film, and Mel feels like he was back in his awesome days of Lethal Weapon before he was batshit insane. He isn't playing Martin Riggs, but he has that vibe. Old School Mel.

Anyway, worth seeing.

Not a bad movie. There's a weird tone shift late, but it doesn't ruin the film.

I liked it and agree that it was good to see bad ass Mel again.
