Was House of 1,000 Corpses scary? Cause I kind of think I started watching that movie but it wasn't scary and kind of stupid so someone turned it off. I just remember wanting to watch that movie a long time ago when it came out. Didn't like Rob Zombie or whatever direct it?

No, it wasn't scary.

I'd describe it as Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets Pee Wee's Playhouse.

Saw The Devil's Rejects this weekend. It's a lot like House of 1000 Corpses.

The film starts off with the police showing up to end the party of serial killing and the family is on the run. From there it's all giggles and heart warming family fun as they have whacky adventures and make new friends.

This is not a movie for the faint of heart. There is a lot of graphic violence and a lot of gratuitous nudity.

I'm pretty sure Rob Zombie tried to teach us a morale about the fine line between good and evil, but I forgive him.

And I don't know if that's his wife or daughter, but she has one of the most incredible asses I've ever seen on film.

Horror fans are the only people who need to bother seeing this one.

I'm still debating on the number I'd assign it, so let's just say if you liked the first, you'll probably like this one.

The more I think about these films later the more they grow on me. I love the clown guy. As much as the first one was about the normal horror stuff, this one was about the characters.

I wasn't expecting much. It was a curiosity (I like Rob Zombie's music). I was pleasantly surprised. Pretty good character development and insane action.

Oh, and that is his wife.

Saw both House of 1,000 Corpses & the Devil's Rejects when they came in from 'Flix. Sid Haig (Captain Spaulding) kicks ass. In the first one, Bill Moseley (Otis) just looked freakier & scarier than the second one. & I get the feeling that Rob was shooting for some sympathy from the audience in the second half of the flick. Maybe it was just cos I'd watched the first film or I'm a heartless bastard, but I wasn't feeling any.

The dude with the "this blood is eternal" speech from House? I distinctly remember reading he wouldn't sign on for a sequel... which either means imdb is wrong, or I have a defective brain. I give it 50/50 either way.

I remember being disappointed at the news, because I thought the actor playing Otis did a great job.

He did a damned fine job. But he's no Sid Haig. I found Captain Spaulding to be the most entertaining motherfucker in the series. I was kinda pissed when Danny Trejo & Dallas Page didn't get more significant roles in the second flick, though. It was all played up as the Firefly folks vs. the sheriff & a couple vigilantes. Barely saw a blink of those two.

Yea, but I dunno if I trust Rob behind the directing chair quite yet. For the moment, he's a decent amateur. & I dunno how committed he'd be to churning out more stories about them, though I'd probably 'Flix them if he did.

Free Bird just popped up on Pandora and I realized it's ruined for me now. Every time I hear it I think of this film.
