A Japanese girl is the daughter of a legendary demon killer whose only purpose is to avenge her father's murder at the hands of Onigen, the most powerful demon.
That's as deep as the story gets right there. They try, here and there, to add some elements of characterization for some of the ancillary characters, but they could have cut every scene they were in and the film wouldn't miss a beat.
Good action in the "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" vein, but not great. In fact, a lot of it is hidden by effects or shaky camera work.
I had higher hopes for this one. Skip it.
