Red Band Trailer - NWS!!!
Kevin Smith's latest film that was rated X until he fought the MPAA over the rating.
The guy is 3 for 3 on ratings challenges. From what I understand, that's unheard of.
I think Craig Robertson has all the good lines, at least judging by the trailer.

Saw it over the weekend.
This had a different feel to it than normal Smith films. This could have easily been a film by the other guys that use Seth Rogan all the time. It fits right into that group of films: 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad, Pineapple Express, etc.
The primary stars are Seth Rogan (Zack) and Elizabeth Banks (Miri) putting Smith's usual crew of actors in the background. In fact, of the normal Smith crew, only Jason Mewes (Jay of Jay and Silent Bob) has more than a cameo.
The story has Zack and Miri as life long friends who are both working bullshit jobs and are essentially broke. Things go from bad to worse as they get so far behind on their bills that their water and electricity get shut off. Desperate, they get the idea to make an amateur porn to solve their financial problems.
The story isn't bad, assuming you can get past the whole "Why do filmmakers want us to pretend that hot woman would fuck Seth Rogan if he was a normal guy?" issue. Although, it does end on an odd note where a few storylines don't get resolved. They ARE resolved in a clip following the credits, but it was an odd choice by Smith to do it this way.
Notable cast members:
-Craig Robinson plays Zack's co-worker who agrees to finance the project. He's been married to his wife since high school and he met her in the first grade (or something along those lines), so as you might imagine, he gets the vast majority of funny one liners throughout the film.
-Justin Long is fucking hilarious as a gay porn star.
-Katie Morgan, an actual porn star, does a fantastic job here. I would bet that her real life persona is not far from her character here. She far outshines former porn star Traci Lords who is also in the film, although Traci didn't have as much to do or say. On a sidenote, I saw an interview with Katie prior to this film's release and when asked if she would quit porn to do mainstream films, she said that she wanted to do both. In her words, she loves fucking, so why not get paid for it and be a serious actress. You've got to love a girl who knows what she wants.
If you hate sex, this movie isn't for you. However, if you're not a puritan or a married woman, then you should enjoy it. Definitely not one for the kiddies as there's nudity and lots of simulated fucking.
A very solid film with good performances and consistent laughs.
7.5 out of 10.

Zack and Miri isn't really a spoof. It's a romantic comedy that happens to involve making a porno.

And I enjoyed this movie. Not as much as I enjoyed Orgasmo, though.

Picked up the BD for like $6 last christmas, watched it over the weekend:
The deleted scenes are nearly as long as the entire movie. Not exaggerating.
