Iron Man 2

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

That's War Machine piloted by Jim Rhodes.

I like the portable version at the end. Nifty.

I don't like this trailer because I don't think the movie has anything left to surprise me with.

Trailer did, indeed, give away a lot of the movie.

Movie didn't suck, though.

Probably'll take a few days for my brain to chew on it, but the initial feeling is ... eh, average. The banter between Tony & Pepper started to annoy the fuck out of me after a while.

"Tony, you know you've been a real asshole lately..."

"Shut the fuck up, woman, there's a goddamn rocket flying at my head!"

I liked it. My wife thought it was better than the first film.

Lots of talking and less action kept me from feeling the same, but it's still a very good flick.

Thoughts:
-Mickey Rourke was a pretty good villain. (He was actually a combination of two Iron Man rogues.)
-Justin Hammer was way too over the top, and didn't come off as someone who could lead a multibillion dollar company.
-Gary Shandling was fantastic. (Gordo and Cake, don't you think he resembles Tom Huth?)
-I hated how they had Hammer outfit War Machine, but when he was firing all weapons in the finale, that looked and sounded incredible.
-The banter throughout was excellent, but I think they got a little too cute at times with the inside jokes.
-Less subtle about Cap's shield this time...
-Scarlet Johansen cannot act. My wife openly laughed at her action sequence saying it was the "fakest thing in the movie".
-Who stuck around to see Mjolnir?
