Kind of surprised they made a priest one of the good guys.

So far so good. Well, mostly. The first episode suffered from bad pacing, as they rushed through the story to get to the underground resistance stage. But it's steadied down nicely with the second episode.
And Inara plays an eerie and creepy V really really well. She sometimes looks disturbingly lizardlike.
