Samuel L. Jackson is a former cop who know runs a cleaning service that specializes in cleaning up the mess left behind by bodies.

Things get interesting when Sam gets hired to clean a murder scene and he finds out later that nobody knew about the murder. He then spends the rest of the movie trying to figure out who hired him and what really happened in that room.

Guest starring Ed Harris, Eva Mendes (why does everyone think she's hot?), and Luis Guzman as Sam's best friend, the house owner, and a cop friend respectively.

The main side plot revolves around Sam's relationship with his daughter.

This movie is very serviceable. The direction is solid, the acting is decent, and the story plays out logically (with a slight misstep regarding a journal).

Still, aside from the interesting premise, there's nothing ground breaking here. It's a standard dramatic thriller. If you enjoy such films, you'll probably like this. A solid dramatic rental that won't blow your socks off. (And it's a bit predictable...ok, very predictable.)

5 out of 10.
