Again it just seems like each spinoff of family guy is the same thing except a lot less funny.
Yet another talking animal and baby that is more intelligent that it should be.
I get that the style of comedy might be the similar but what really is the difference between Family Guy/American Dad/Cleveland Show?
I didn't go in with high hopes and it still disappointed me.

Plus 4 characters hung out in a bar and talked about crazy stuff.
I kept waiting for Joe and Bonnie to show up but to make it different it would be a pregnant man and a woman in a wheelchair.
Perhaps I am being to hard on it.

I read one review of it that basically loved it as much as you.
I downloaded it just to check it. It always seemed to me that they had enough jokes for 1 show, only, and they just keep watering it down spreading it between (among?) more shows.

I watched half this morning, and will finish tonight. So far I am completely unimpressed.
It's almost like Seth MacFarlane is mocking us for watching.

The entire show reminds me of the shyte Family used to parody in twenty second clips. I can't believe they cut off King of the Hill for this fucking show.

I didn't even think about King of the Hill stopping to make room for it. The show is even worse now because something funny was removed for it.

Since I've enjoyed some of his stuff in the past, I'll give it one more episode. But I don't expect to be impressed enough to continue past that.

Going to give it a bit more time if for no other reason just to see how much of a lame ass copy it is of the other shows.
Also it was renewed for season 2 before the first show even aired.

What about Cleveland Jr.? Why the hell is he so fat? I know this is a spinoff of a cartoon with a talking dog so realism isn't needed but couldn't they at least put in the line "Yeah Jr. really plumped up while living with his mother." Or did he get fat at some point and I just missed it?

I sort of recall some line like that, that he'd suddenly aged four years or something. It was early in the episode.

I think there was a chuckle, but it occurred with the Family Guy cast still in the picture.
Overall, the show just came off as very forced.
I'll give it a few more tries. They had to setup the premise, and that obviously got them out of the gate slowly. Plus, American Dad sucked the first two years, but last year actually got funny for a few episodes.
I'm bummed about King of the Hill too.
Oh and Family Guy was pretty good. Of course, the Stewie and Brian focused episodes are usually the best.

How did KotH end? I was surprised to catch an episode where Luanne was pregnant, and I think Tom Petty was the father.

Nothing spectacular. The major plotlines came from what would've been the first two episodes of the new season, so they're fairly run-o'-the-mill.
They obviously tacked on a scene at the very end to could get the entire cast in one last pose. & you finally get to know what Boomhauer's job is.
But yeah, Luanne & Tom Petty had a kid by the last episode. Had one for a few, I think.

Yes, it is that bad.
I'm a little surprised they got the license plate in that flashback montage through:

Yes, Cleveland's new wife. Who was being fucked in the van with said license plate.

2nd show was 1,000 times better but still wasn't that good. The fat kid dressed as prince was awesome but the few bits that were funny could have just been jokes in Family Guy.
