If you ain't seen this film, you're missing the second or third (behind Godfather Part 1 and maybe Part 2) greatest ganger flick made since the gov't forced Hollywood to tone down the violence & Warner Brothers almost died cos of it.
Ray Liotta is a lifelong mobster. He's friends with other mobsters, namely Robert De Niro & Joe Pesci. The flick deals w\ the their lives within the Italian mafia from the '50s to the '80s. Damn well done. Out-fucking-standing acting from De Niro, Pesci, & Liotta. Good directing, cinematography, score, editing, etc. About everything went right for this flick.
If you ain't heard of this, you've been living in a cave. If you ain't seen it, you're simply missing out. Go fucking rent it.
Verdict : 4.5 stars. -.5 stars for underutilizing Samuel L. Jackson in a bit role.
