Yeah, I saw it on Valentine's Day. What can I say, she's 8 months pregnant with twins, so the least I could do is let her pick the film. (Besides, Watchmen is next.)

So here's the summary:
Chick has shopping problem, as in, she shops until she's maxed out her credit line. She wants to work for a certain fashion magazine, but is forced to take a job with a sister magazine hoping to one day make it to the fashion magazine. The sister magazine happens to be a financial magazine, haha, get it? Anyway, the EIC is a young billionaire from England who wants to make it without mommy's name and money. They fall in love, but an evil fashion exec and the girl's creditors put their love in doubt.

Seriously, that's the film sans the ending, but I'm pretty sure you all know the end.

It's not the worst movie I've ever seen and the acting is actually decent.

However, I spent 90 minutes (that seemed like 500) imagining all the various things I'd like to do to the star (she's the chick who abused Vince Vaughn in The Wedding Crashers).

I'd give this a score, but it wouldn't be fair without a vagina. I will say that my wife said she liked the book better.

I think my wife read this when she was thinking of writing for that market. It sounded bad.
