I've never even heard of this flick, but apparently it is out now, has big (soon to be blacklisted) names, and makes fun of people like Michael Moore and his socialist ideology.

Grammer was brilliant in that submarine movie.

When you are partly responsible for Naked Gun, Airplane, and Top Secret I will watch whatever else you decide to make. It may not be gold but I think I owe them that much.

Ha, I KNEW it... Onion rates this movie an "F"

I went to the onion today just to see that review.

What makes An American Carol overtly depressing rather than merely lame is its allegiance to a diseased political discourse built on crude dichotomies: Either you're a bellicose, God-fearing patriot or a troop-hating, traitorous hippie.

For anyone in the media or politics, the odds are greater than 95% that that's exactly what they are. Sure there are lots of people somewhere in the middle, but they generally don't get involved in the process that intimately. Because no one wants to work with duchebags all the time ... except other douchebags, I guess.

The internet will always be anti-conservative because the young rule the internet and the young lean liberal. They have to because they have zero life experience.

The young rule the internet cos the current old folk didn't learn how to surf ARPANET back in the day.

Computer literacy will become pervasive.

I surfed CompuServe in the 80's on a modem that had to be something like 800 baud.

300 baud? Then 1200 baud.

I'm guessing 300. Not sure, but we're talking 85/86.

Oh, and I was surprised at how intelligent "Down Periscope" was. Lots of factual stuff in there on the old diesel WWII subs.

Okay, it was 300 baud. I had the 835 direct connect modem. And a 5 1/4 floppy drive. And the ol' casstte reader, of course.

Man, that page sure takes me back.

Just wait till the first generation of computer-savvy users & gamers hit retirement age. Weird shit will occur. Mark my words.

I'm looking forward to being old and senile in a retirement home with nothing to do all day but surf porn, watch movies, and play video games.

It's a great time to be a burden to your family.

I'm anxious for the day when we can become cyborgs, implant skills directly in our brains, & download personalities to storage archives.

Theaters selling tickets for other movies to keep this movie from making money.

http://littlemissattila.mu.nu/archives/275006.php

Sounds a little conspiracy theorist to me.... now we have to worry about biased kids selling movie tickets? Then again, that sounds more possible than a widespread theater owner conspiracy. Kids are more likely to swing liberal and be dishonest.

At this point, I truly believe the left is capable of anything to make themselves seem superior and/or to win this election. Hell, ANY election.

For as nuts as I think the right is, the left has gone way out of their way to prove their superiority in that area since 2000.
