I'd heard good things about this indie "zombie" movie earlier this year, but I couldn't find it in a theater closer than Chicago.

Much like Stephen King's The Cell, an electronic signal goes out over the TV and radio airwaves that turn people... psychotic, in a sense. Hard to explain, as the movie does a decent job of helping the viewer understand that there is still "reason" there, but it's like their brain filters are gone. So they aren't really zombies any more than the things in 28 Days Later or the recent I Am Legend were zombies. "Zombies" is just quick shorthand to describe the effect.

Anyway, indie movie, and production values here and there show it, but overall a decent flick. Not sure if it is worth the $25 I paid for it on Blu Ray, but time will tell.... there is definite Sean of the Dead style banter in the middle that make the movie much more interesting.

The Blu Ray loses an automatic point for not being able to immediately hit the disk menu. You either sit through the previews, or hit the skip-forward button 4 times. I hate that. Maybe just pirate the flick so you don't have to sit through that.
