Saw a part of the season 1 finale. I was thoroughly unimpressed.

They had a surprisingly high tendency to kill off major characters through the season, including the finale.
Silar crawling into a manhole with no one noticing was a major copout, though.

Sure, I've watched all of it and enjoyed it so far. But it's been long enough that I've probably forgotten many details.
